Not-so-exciting stuff on the rankings this week
US songstress Katy Perry has made the week's highest debut on the ARIA Albums Chart, entering at #2 with her much-hyped new full-length, Witness — leaving Ed Sheeran atop the pile with ÷ (Divide) for another week.
In fact, if not for Sheeran, the top end would've consisted almost entirely of new faces, including UK trio London Grammar (Truth Is A Beautiful Thing, #3), Hillsong United (Wonder, #4), Rise Against (Wolves, #5) and Lady Antebellum (Heart Break, #6).
But you can't walk two steps without bumping into the tatt-loving troubadour, whose previous record, X, is up three places to #7 this week, while first album + is up one to #11. Christ, he's everywhere (including at #8 and #9 on the Singles chart, with Shape Of You and Galway Girl, respectively).
The next-nearest debut comes from the self-titled album for Lindsey Buckingham & Christine McVie, who land just outside the top 20, at #21, while Phoenix's Ti Amo does the trick to skate into the top 40, at #36.

Just below, SZA enters at #40 with Ctrl, and veteran punk outfit Rancid just fall short with Trouble Maker entering at #41.
Canadian R&B luminary The Weeknd has enjoyed a bit of a boost of the back of news that he'll be touring Australia for the first time soon, as Starboy climbs 17 places to #42, and Beauty Behind The Madness re-enters the charts at #91, just below a string of re-entries from Ellie Goulding (Delirium, #90), Illy (Two Degrees, #89) and The Wiggles (The Wiggles Nursery Rhymes, #88).
In the Singles chart, Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee remain similarly unmovable, with Despacito (ft Justin Bieber) sticking around at #1 for another week, relegating David Guetta's 2U (also ft the Biebs) to the #2 spot on debut.
It's the only new song to make the top 40 this week, though the wider top 100 ladder is a little less grim, with Aussie singer Starley stepping out at #65 with Touch Me, DJ Khaled coming in at #70 with To The Max (ft Drake), Jessica Mauboy making a splash at #91 with Fallin', Lorde registering at #93 with Sober, and Miley Cyrus sliding in at #97 with Inspired.
