duck! radio and interim recording studios have announced their first ever collaborative event.

The online broadcasting platform is excited to be presenting an all-day party which will be taking place this Sunday, November 10th, at interim - the recording studio and event space known to have hosted such functions as short snarl’s debut EP launch, and various shows and market exchanges in collaboration with Runt Records

Beginning from 10 am and continuing well into the evening, the all-day party not only boasts a specially curated line-up, but barbeque bites and special snacks will be available to munch on throughout the event.

duck! radio, who streams live from the Adelaide Bike Kitchen every Sunday from 8 am to 10 pm, has had a proud history of platforming local artists and music aficionados of all demographics. On their show, they promise, “broadcasts will be varied and unconstrained, presenters are encouraged emphatically to unleash and invite whichever musical flavours they feel inclined.”

This all-star line-up has been specially curated by Hamish Gibson-Smith of terra-cotta records, the local label that has worked with such musicians as experimental multi-instrumentalist Marcello and Melbourne-based artist honeybeam.

Launched in 2022, in an interview with The Note Gibson-Smith said of terra-cotta records, “The idea is to work with artists who are pretty much by themselves through the whole process of their music creation. There’s a more unique and defined sound in music when it comes from one mind and space. I get more of a vision from that. It changed my perspective on how I wanted to be involved in the scene.”

The line-up, which has just been revealed and includes the broadcasting platform’s regulars and interim’s residents, is as follows:

Madeleine (a duck! radio regular)

DJ FaceTime sex

Hunter Brown (DJ Breaking Even)

Runt Records

Hamish (of interim recording studios)

SICKNASTY

Fishwife

Research Project

Strictface

The Sunday event is free and welcome to all.
