Dua LipaDua Lipa has just announced a new live album and concert film that celebrates her era of Radical Optimism.
The project, Dua Lipa (Live From Mexico), tracks the singer’s three sold-out shows at Mexico City’s Estadio GNP Seguros last December. The concert film premieres on Lipa’s YouTube channel on Friday, 22 May, at 3 am AEST—the same day the live album drops on digital streaming services.
Physical copies of the album are now available to pre-order here. Check out the concert film trailer and End Of An Era (Live From Mexico) below.
“This tour has been the most beautiful and fulfilling experience of my career so far,” Lipa commented in the concert film’s trailer. “You’ve built something bigger than a show. You’ve built a family, and I feel that every single night.”
In addition to promoting her latest album, Radical Optimism, Lipa performed hits from across her career on the Live From Mexico record and film, such as One Kiss, Levitating, Physical, New Rules, Be The One, Electricity, Don’t Start Now, and more. Find the track listing below.
Dua Lipa brought her Radical Optimism tour to Australia last March. Reviewing one of the singer’s sold-out Melbourne shows, The Music’s Monique La Terra wrote, “The show closed with Houdini, a bold, shimmering anthem with an assertive bassline that sounded even better live, leaving the audience with a lasting sense of empowerment.

“In fact, the entire night was a lesson in harnessing one’s power, with Lipa’s performance fuelling a confidence that lingered long after the final note.”
Each night on her Australian run, the British singer-songwriter performed a “surprise song” and ensured that each song she covered was recorded by an Australian artist.
She ventured through pop with renditions of Kylie Minogue’s eternal classic, Can’t Get You Out Of My Head, and Natalie Imbruglia’s cover of Torn and rock with unexpected songs like AC/DC’s Highway To Hell and INXS’s Never Tear Us Apart.
Besides the covers, Lipa was joined by special guests for four nights, paying tribute to them by performing their songs alongside them. She sang Rush with Troye Sivan, Riptide with Vance Joy, The Less I Know The Better with Kevin Parker (of Tame Impala fame), and Big Jet Plane with Angus Stone.
