As Dua Lipa continues her Radical Optimism tour in Sydney this week and Auckland, New Zealand, next week, she’s shared something special: an official collaboration with Troye Sivan.

Last Saturday (22 March), Sivan joined Lipa on stage in Melbourne as a special guest. Together, the pair performed his hit single, Rush (with the unforgettable dance from the music video). Following the performance, the duo went into the crowd and gave one lucky punter a USB featuring their Physical remix.

Today, Lipa has officially shared the remix. The song arrives as she celebrates the fifth anniversary of her second album, Future Nostalgia, which spawned the singles Don’t Start Now, Physical, Break My Heart, and Levitating.

The fifth-anniversary edition of Future Nostalgia has been released on a special triple vinyl edition featuring one yellow splatter vinyl and two traditional black vinyl discs—you can purchase your copy here.

On social media, Lipa revealed that she and Sivan worked on the Physical remix “years” ago. Here’s what she had to say about the fifth anniversary of Future Nostalgia:

5 YEARS OF FUTURE NOSTALGIA ~ doesn't even feel real!!!! Thank you for the memories that I have to last me a lifetime ~ keeping me dancing all around the world – grateful beyond words and thanking my lucky stars every day for music and the power that it has over me and the ability it has had time and time again to connect us all no matter where we are on this floating rock!!!!

To celebrate this massive milestone in my life I’m sharing a version of Physical that @troyesivan and I worked on together years ago and it always felt like it needed an occasion, and this feels like it's the perfect time. OUT MIDNIGHT TONIGHT. With love, always xx Dua

Reviewing Lipa’s recent Melbourne show, The Music’s Monique La Terra wrote, “The show closed with Houdini, a bold, shimmering anthem with an assertive bassline that sounded even better live, leaving the audience with a lasting sense of empowerment. In fact, the entire night was a lesson in harnessing one’s power, with Lipa’s performance fuelling a confidence that lingered long after the final note.”
