"Ps. I still can’t skate."
Dom Dolla + Vans Australia (Dulce Amor Temporal )
Dom Dolla is leading a line-up of fashionable and talented local Australian artists that includes Sydney-based duo, Cat & Calmell, and Melbourne-based, Daine, as the new faces of Vans Australia’s latest campaign.
The campaign aims to highlight individuality through stories from a collection of musicians, creatives, and skaters. In lockstep with the global launch of the campaign, titled This is Off The Wall comes the Vans Knu Skool, a refresh of the classic Old Skool silhouette.
Of the epic pairing, Dom said: “Vans have been such an iconic part of fashion, art and pop culture for more than half a century. Their influence is undeniable, it’s an honour to be a part of this new campaign. Not to mention… the fat tongue on the Knu Skool makes them comfortable as hell lol”

He also added alongside snaps of the campaign on Instagram: “I don’t often model 💅🏼 but when I do… I make sure it’s for brands I wish I was cool enough to wear growing up ☠️ ☠️ ☠️”
He added, “Thanks for having me V. Ps. I still can’t skate.”
The new vans design the Rhyme Dust hitmaker reps in the campaign is a “modern interpretation of a ‘90s low top, designed with a puffed-up tongue and ankle collar, sturdy suede uppers, signature rubber waffle outsoles and a re-envisioned diamond bevelled Sidestripe,” according to the campaign’s press release.
With a chunky, oversized look and feel reminiscent of iconic skate shoes from decades past, the Knu Skool silhouette features an exaggerated look that plays off the original Old Skool.
It marks yet another win for Dom Dolla, who this year alone has released a banger of a single with Nelly Furtado, sold out two hometown shows within five minutes, performed at Lollapalooza and is still set to perform at the festival Spilt Milk later this year.
