Taking to Instagram after the set, Dom tweeted, "Day trip that was absolutely off its head."
The show comes just weeks after the rising EDM star teamed up with pop legend Nelly Furtado for a brand new banger titled Eat Your Man.
Speaking of the collab upon its release, Dom said, “Nelly first reached out to me after we were both booked to play Beyond The Valley Festival."
"She’d discovered my music not long before and was into what she heard. We immediately hit it off after hanging out and she mentioned that she was looking to start writing a bunch of new records and would love my input as a songwriter/producer."
"After a few days of writing she mentioned she would love to work on a club record together, and we began to put some ideas down. Not long after, Eat Your Man was born."
"Nelly and I have since become really good friends - I even completed the mix down for this tune while house-sitting for her in LA. She’s the nicest pop star I’ve met thus far and is a joy to work with. The tune has since become a real moment in my DJ sets, I hope you guys like it as much as we do!”
Nelly added, "Meeting Dom has been an absolute blessing. We have a real creative synergy and trust when we work together - we hear music in a similar way and I am super inspired by his live shows. He’s reminded me how much fun music can be and for that I am grateful."
The pair also joined forces for a surprise performance together on New Year’s Eve at Australia’s acclaimed Beyond The Valley festival in 2022 as the duo brought in the New Year performing to 35,000 festival goers.
Dom is set to keep the party going Down Under after he recently announced his largest-ever headline hometown show that will take place this summer at Melbourne's Sidney Myer Bowl - which sold out within five minutes.
Initially announcing a single performance on Saturday, December 16th, the overwhelming demand led to the addition of a second show on Friday, December 15th, after the presale tickets sold out within minutes of going live.
By achieving this epic milestone, Dom joined the ranks of esteemed artists such as Daft Punk, Tame Impala, Florence and the Machine, Arctic Monkeys, Flume, and RÜFÜS DU SOL, solidifying his place among them as he manages to sell out not just one, but two shows at the prestigious venue.
Given his recent projects and festival performances, we have no doubt that Dom Dolla's career is only set to get hotter.
