DieselDiesel (Mark Denis Lizotte) will be continuing his run of shows in support of Americana well into 2017. The ARIA-winning rocker will be playing shows in NSW, VIC, WA and SA between now and the end of April.
He will be joined by special guest Matt Cornell at three Newcastle shows and will play A Day On The Green, joining Jimmy Barnes, John Farnham, Cyndi Lauper, The Whitlams, Montaigne and Bernard Fanning on the line up.
Diesel, born in America but raised in Australia, released his 15th studio album, Americana, earlier this year. The album was influenced by the genre, which incorporates elements of American country, roots-rock, folk, R&B and blues and ties Diesel to the land he left as a child.
2017 will also mark 25 years since the release of his landmark album, Hepfidelity.
