Sydney punks Clay J Gladstone have returned with a raucous new single, Where Do Ya Want Me, today after its premiere on Home & Hosed on Tuesday night. The song was produced by ARIA-award-winning producer Anton Hagop (Silverchair, Missy Higgins, Birds of Tokyo).

The track follows the critically-acclaimed Hate Club, which was plugged by Spotify, triple j, triple j Unearthed, The AU Review, GC Live, HEAVY Mag, Edge of the Crowd, 4ZZZ, Radio Adelaide, Three D Radio, Southern FM, Punk Rock Demonstration (USA), The Sound Lab (UK) and Punktastic (UK).

Where Do Ya Want Me is filled to the brim with infectious riffs, razor-sharp vocals and commentary, innuendos, and pounding drums to make up an unforgettable punk tune. The music video is just as wild, tracking members through pubs downing beers, restaurants and shopping centres, with dizzying effects applied throughout the clip.

Discussing the meaning behind the song, lead vocalist Tim Wisbey shares, "The song is about putting up with a toxic relationship and not having the guts to call it out. Lyrically, it's sarcastic and passive-aggressive. Saying what you really feel, albeit under your breath. We really wanted raw production with this one, fuck the auto-tune-off (not that we're against it) and spit some realness into an over-produced world. We just wanted this to be straight-up swag rock with a touch of horniness."

Clay J Gladstone are touring off the back of the single and have impressively sold out their Sydney gig seven weeks in advance, while Melbourne and Brisbane's dates are selling fast.
