City & Colour Announces New Album Ahead Of Australian Visit

City & Colour, aka Dallas Green, has announced the release of his sixth studio album.

Dubbed A Pill For Loneliness, this is the first album from the Canadian artist since 2015's If I Should Go Before You. 

The album is due for release on 4 October as part of Green's newly launched Still Records. 

“I wrote a lot of dark songs and wrapped them in the most beautiful sounds we could find,” said Green of the album. 

“There are personal connotations, but they’re also relatable. I’m thankful for the opportunity to create.”

Aussie fans won't have to wait all that long to get a taste of the album though, with City & Colour to play a special closing night show as part of Brisbane Festival on 28 September.
