Aussie rockers Jet have rescheduled the remaining eight dates on their current Rumblin’ Regional Revue Tour due to “an unexpected family matter.”

The originally booked tour dates would have run from Friday, 30 October, in Hobart, to Saturday, 14 November, in Frankston. The eight dates have been shuffled around, kicking off in Hobart on Friday, 22 January, and concluding on the Gold Coast on Saturday, 6 March.

Check out the rescheduled dates below.

Jet announced the postponement of the shows in a social media statement. “Important update for our Australian fans. Due to an unexpected family matter, we’ve had to reschedule the remaining dates of our Rumblin’ Regional Revue tour,” they wrote.

They continued, “We’re really sorry for any inconvenience this causes and appreciate your understanding.”

The band added that all tickets remain valid for the new dates and don’t need to be exchanged. However, if you can no longer make it to the rescheduled performances, you can contact your
“original point of purchase” by Wednesday, 25 November, at 5 pm to get a refund.

More ticketing information is available on the Live Nation Australia website.

Joining Jet across all shows, except Tasmania, is Sydney alternative five-piece Liquid Zoo. For their Tasmanian gigs, the Aussie rockers will be accompanied by local outfit Spooky Eyes.

In May, BMG expanded its longtime relationship with Jet by acquiring the publishing interests in the band’s catalogue. With the acquisition, BMG covers the publishing interests of three of the band’s original members: Nic Cester, Cam Muncey, and Mark Wilson.

Jet’s breakthrough debut, Get Born, released in 2003, is certified nine times Platinum in Australia and is one of the highest-selling Australian rock albums of all time. The singles Are You Gonna Be My Girl and Rollover DJ reached #1 and #19, respectively, on the 2003 triple j Hottest 100.
