Belgian DJ Charlotte de Witte has announced a rescheduled date taking place in Sydney, with a new date for Melbourne fans to be revealed soon.

De Witte recently cancelled her scheduled appearances in Australia, including a headlining slot at last weekend’s Pitch Music & Arts Festival, due to the crisis in the Middle East affecting airlines. The travel disruptions meant that de Witte couldn’t get to Australia on time to perform at Pitch and her show at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion.

The world-dominating DJ will now take over the Sydney venue on Saturday, 12 December, with details to follow about the rescheduled Melbourne show, which will no longer be a festival date. Tickets to the Sydney show are available here.

In a statement posted on social media last week, de Witte said her team was working to reschedule the Sydney show and to secure an “alternative show” for fans in Melbourne before the end of the year.

“It is with a heavy heart that I have to cancel my upcoming shows in Australia this weekend,” de Witte wrote.

She continued, “Due to the recent escalation of conflict and drone attacks in the Middle East, it is not possible to risk free reroute travel for myself and my crew. This decision was not taken lightly.

“We are working on rescheduling the Sydney show and finding an alternative show for Melbourne before the end of the year. All ticket holders will be contacted directly by the event organisers with information regarding refunds or new dates.

“I am truly sorry for the disappointment and was very much looking forward to being with you. With love, Charlotte.”

Charlotte de Witte has previously performed in Australia, with appearances at the 2022 Wildlands and Beyond The Valley festivals cementing her reputation as a techno music powerhouse.

De Witte has amassed a fanbase of over 10 million listeners worldwide. She’s redefined what it means to be a techno artist, combining the raw energy of underground music scenes with global pop-star appeal.

The DJ returns to Australia following the release of her long-awaited self-titled debut album, which dropped in November 2025. Before the album’s release, de Witte had already been crowned DJ Mag’s #1 Techno DJ six years in a row—from 2020 to 2025. Having performed at Tomorrowland, Coachella, and Lollapalooza, she’s an artist who goes beyond expectations.
