Geneve’s debut album, Learn To Like It, released in 2020, was nominated for the prestigious Australian Music Prize. She followed it up with Hertz, released in 2023, a record inspired by significant life changes and her ongoing commitment to unflinching self-expression. Don’t Be Afraid continues that journey.
Yesterday, it was announced that Geneve has been nominated for the Vocalist of the Year award at this year’s WAM Awards (WAMis). The winners will be revealed during a ceremony at the Fremantle Arts Centre on Wednesday, 10 December.
