"We're looking to reduce the appeal of that part of the world for these types of parties,"

As police continue to search for a man reported missing following a bush party in Sydney over the weekend, organisers of such unauthorised events are being urged to register the parties to avoid similar dangers.

As ABC reports, 24-year-old Tiemuzhen Chalaer has still not been found since he was last seen sometime between 6.30am and 9am on Sunday morning when he walked into bushland.

Geoff Luscombe from the National Parks and Wildlife Service says the event, held at Lower Portland in Hawkesbury, is the second illegal party to take place there in recent weeks.

"We're looking to reduce the appeal of that part of the world for these types of parties," Luscombe said.

"We're considering surveillance cameras, signage, gates, those kinds of things to make the place less attractive."

The news comes two months after a man was found dead in his car at the site of an unauthorised dance festival in Newton Boyd.

Meanwhile, Inspector Jim Powers of Hawkesbury Local Area Command says they are treating the search for Chalaer as a "rescue operation".

"We'll go for as long as it takes: it could be anywhere between five and seven days."
