The Sydney arm of Ireland's HUB Artist Services have emerged from last week's BIGSOUND conference and showcase freshly armed with a new complement of artists for their burgeoning roster, with "behind-the-scenes wheeling and dealing" securing deals for not only local performers George Byrne and Bel, but Scandinavian dream-pop star Anna Of The North too.
The three acts join a cabal of artists that sprawls across HUB's various management, label and publishing divisions and includes names from Bec & Ben, Gold Fields and Dune to Step Panther, Glass Towers and Grand Pavilion. Naturally, each brings a little something special of their own to the fold.
Bel, for example, is a prime demonstration of the next generation of over-achieving, multi-faceted artists, a group of digital natives who command crazy-impressive followings and social media presences, with the young musician already dropping considered and mature music that belies her undergraduate youth.
George Byrne, meanwhile, has been quietly racking up wins halfway around the world following his relocation from Byron Bay to Los Angeles, where he's since developed a healthy reputation as a photographer of the finest calibre and released a collaborative debut album, Hollywood Lights, on which he worked with a range of musicians, including members of The Cardinals — and it'll now get a full Aussie release via HUB.

Last, but not least, Anna Of The North joins the family from the far-flung locale of Norway, from where she launched her stunning debut single Sway and worked her way into the ears and hearts of discerning listeners the world over. Her next single, The Dreamer (produced, fittingly enough, by Melbourne's Little Dreamer), will be released via HUB in October.
Keep an eye out on all three of HUB's new signings — not to mention the rest of their highly talented roster — in the near future for more news and information of how and where you can hear their goods.
