Her track 'Call On Me' has been steadily climbing since November
After making her debut inside the top 100 late last year, up-and-coming Sydney songstress Starley has broken inside the top 10 on this week's UK Official Singles Chart.
The local chanteuse originally stepped out on the ladder back in November with her debut single Call On Me, which originally landed at #89 and has since climbed its way up to this week end up nicely in the upper echelon at #8.
It's quite the notable improvement on last week's result of #26, which, you know, is also still a pretty great outcome, especially considering it had previously leaped up 51 spots in one go to achieve that result.
The top-10 outcome is a new high for the Sydney musician, who last year signed with well-regarded dance label Tinted Records ahead of Call On Me's initial release.

In some ways, it's lucky we even got to hear the track at all, much less see it do so well, given that she was "thinking of walking away from music altogether" before writing the tune, Starley said at the time.
"One night, this song just poured out of me," she said. "It became a way of telling myself it was going to be OK; almost like an encouragement. It was as if I had created my own lighthouse; a beacon to help me realise my dreams are not impossible. I can do this… I’ll figure it out. I just need to follow my intuition and essentially, call on myself."
Call On Me, which peaked here in Australia at #45, has also been the subject of a successful remix at the hands of Melbourne DJ Ryan Riback, whose take on the track did a nice bit of business over the December break.
Starley further recently added to her growing list of accolades by being named among the 2017 Australian cohort heading to Austin, Texas, to melt minds at SXSW this March.
