We are gonna show Texas WHAT IS UP!

The Aussie contingent in Austin, Texas this March is getting stronger by the minute, as SXSW has added another heap of local musos to their huge list of up-and-coming acts showcasing to the who's who of the music industry.

Adding to a list already boasting the likes of indie rocker Alex Lahey, Wafia and Oscar Key Sung (revealed on their first announce) and bluesman CW Stoneking, Kučka and Middle Kids (second announce), this morning the mammoth music conference have added the likes of singers All Our Exes Live In Texas, Tame Impala's Cam Avery, hip hop upstart Tkay Maidza and electronic wunderkind Japanese Wallpaper.

Also on the list are Koi Child, Black Rheno, Beth Brown, Castlecomer, The Coconut Kids, The Elliotts, ELSZ, Food Court, The Rumjacks, Slow Dancer, Starley (who has already been making waves on overseas charts), Slum Sociable, Totally Mild, Tim Wheatley, WILSN, Woodes and Sui Zhen.

It's our largest addition of Aussies yet (21 new acts!) and brings our total at the 10-day festival to 35 Australian acts and, if we may claim them too, one Kiwi act, Ladyhawke.
