The Golden Stave event is just around the corner

Set to celebrate its 35th Anniversary, the Golden Stave Annual Fundraising Lunch is up-and-running again this year. With over $13 million raised over the last 34 years, Golden Stave Foundation is ready to deliver another memorable silent auction and keep the money rolling to NSW Children's charities.

The 2013 Fundraising Lunch's impressive lineup includes headliners Rose Tattoo, who were more than happy to feature at the event.

“I have long been a supporter and was introduced to the Foundation by Fifa Rickabono from Albert's Publishing many years ago. The Foundation recently approached me and I was pleased to answer the call,” he said.

“From what I know of the Foundation, the support they provide to the various organisations / charities is very positive. In particular, those that support kids who are under privileged, I think are very important and can make a difference.”

The lineup will also include Ziggy: The Songs of David Bowie – starring iOTA, Jeff Duff, Steve Balbi and Brydon Stace, and backed by members of Aussie acts like Silverchair and Noiseworks.

The event will be hosted by Bianca Dye and Shaun James, with WSFM's Jonesy & Amanda presenting the Hall of Fame award. It will take place Friday 21 June at the Horden Pavillion, carrying momentum from 2012's successful event that raised $340,000.
