Ahren Stringer Won't Be Touring With The Amity Affliction 'For The Foreseeable Future'
"If you're expecting to see me, I won't be there," Stringer told fans curious about his touring plans with The Amity Affliction in 2025.

The Amity Affliction founder, bassist and singer Ahren Stringer has told fans that he won’t be touring with the band “for the foreseeable future.”
In an Instagram post shared yesterday (30 January), Stringer reminded followers that he’s not currently touring with the band and claimed that he asked his bandmates to share that news, which hasn’t been posted.
The text over a black background reads:
Hi everyone, as you who follow me know I'm not touring with the band I started "the Amity Affliction".
I asked the band to advertise to ya'll that I ain't gonna be there.
Apologies to everyone that was not communicated by the band.
Just wanted to let you know if you're expecting to see me I won't be there. Nothing but love x
In the caption, he added: “Hate to say it this way but I’m constantly being asked. I will not be touring with AMITY for the foreseeable future.”
Stringer’s latest post follows apparent ongoing conflict within the Byron heavy band.

Last May, the band stated that Stringer would depart their US tour to receive support for his mental health and wellbeing, adding that he needed help dealing with addiction. Stringer claimed he’d been “booted” from the tour a day later.
Fans have expressed concern about what has happened within the bands for months. Last July, Stringer confirmed that he’d return to perform with the band for their headline slot at Big Pineapple Festival in October and their massive Let The Ocean Take Me tenth-anniversary Australian tour in November.
At the end of the Australian tour, Stringer said he’d be taking “some much-needed annual leave from the band throughout 2025.”
In 2023, The Amity Affliction released their self-produced eighth album, Not Without My Ghosts, via Pure Noise Records.
