The Amity Affliction have just dropped their highly anticipated new album, Not Without My Ghosts, and it might just be their heaviest record yet.
Featuring recent singles Show Me Your God, I See Dead People, It’s Hell Down Here and more, the band’s latest self-produced offering will be celebrated this weekend with exclusive merch pop-up stores in Melbourne and Sydney.
They wanted to do something special for their Aussie fans to mark the occasion as they’re currently on tour in the US, with the pop-up stores being in Melbourne today (May 12) at Oshi Gallery from 3pm, and Sydney on Saturday 13 May at Crowbar from 12pm.
Under 18s are welcome at both events, however, they will need to be accompanied by an adult at all times in Sydney.
Ahead of the release of Not Without My Ghosts, bassist/vocalist Ahren Stringer told us the album was “a fresh exploration of heavy music”.

“It's kind of like a collection of everything we can do,” he said.
“You know, it's got a super soft song, super heavy song and everything in between; it's just a solid Amity album and a bit more back to our roots - a bit heavier.
“We made the album that we would want to listen to. I think that's what we always try to do. So, we'd never put up a song that we wouldn't ourselves, listen to on an album. I think that definitely encapsulates it all. It's got a bit of everything and probably some of our best work.”
The Amity Affliction will embark on a massive Australian tour this October in support of the new album, taking in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth. You can find more details here and listen to the new album below.
