If you think it might be fun to throw something at Adele while she’s on stage, you might want to rethink that decision – not only will security guards escort you out, but Adele herself will “fucking kill you”.

Addressing the audience at her Las Vegas residency, the Someone Like You singer referenced the handful of incidents that saw female artists struck by phones, slapped in the face and thrown a bag of ashes in the last few weeks.

“Have you noticed how people are like, forgetting fucking show etiquette at the moment?,” Adele asked. “People just throwing shit on stage, have you seen them? These people have lost it; could you imagine?”

In a video captured by the Twitter account Pop Crave, Adele issued the audience with a challenge: “I fucking dare you,” she said, touting a t-shirt gun, shooting a shirt into the crowd after saying, “Dare you to throw something at me and I’ll fucking kill you.” You can watch the footage below.

Last week, pop music icon P!nk received a bag of a fan’s mother’s ashes while she was headlining Hyde Park’s British Summer Time festival.

While performing the M!ssundaztood classic, Just Like A Pill, a fan threw a little white bag onto the stage. She picked it up, looked at the bag closely and asked, “Is this your mum?”

Upon receiving confirmation from the fan in the audience, she responded, “I don’t know how I feel about this.”

Recently, American pop singer Bebe Rexha was rushed off the stage after a phone was hurled at her face. Performing on the Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York, the disturbance occurred while the Stars singer was singing her last song of the night for her Best F’n Night of My Life tour.

She was seen visibly falling to her knees and clutching her face – her team then helped her off the stage, and a scheduled meet and greet was cancelled.

Just days later, another US pop star, Ava Max, promised that one fan would “never [be] coming to a show again” after she was slapped on stage.

Meanwhile, country music singer Kelsea Ballerini was struck by what looked like a bracelet at a recent concert. After being hit, she paused while performing her song, If You Go Down (I'm Goin' Down Too), before walking off stage.

After a short break, Ballerini returned to the stage to finish her set.

“Don't throw things. You know?” she told the crowd. “I just want shows of mine – every show, for every artist – but I'm in control of this one, and I just want it to be a safe space for everyone. We have little kids here. Can you help me do that tonight, please?”
