“He slapped me so hard that he scratched the inside of my eye..."

US pop star Ava Max has been met with a fan who slapped her at the end of her show at the Fonda Theatre, in Los Angeles.
The incident occurred while Max was dancing at the end of the concert. The fan got on stage, slapped the Sweet But Psycho singer, and was escorted off the stage by security. Max can be seen holding her face and has faced injury.
The singer took to Twitter after the incident took place, writing, “He slapped me so hard that he scratched the inside of my eye. He’s never coming to a show again. Thank you to the fans for being spectacular tonight in LA though!!”
Footage of the alleged incident was shared on Twitter by Ava Max Source and has since gone viral overnight, gaining over 1.4 million views. “Someone jumped on stage at the end of tonight’s show in Los Angeles,” the fan account said. “This is a reminder that this behavior [sic] is unacceptable. Sending all our love to Ava and her crew.”
The violent incident happened just days after a fellow US artist of Albanian descent, Bebe Rexha, had a phone thrown at her face during her set.
The man who threw the phone at Rexha confessed to the New York City Police and said, "I was trying to see if I could hit her with the phone at the end of the show because it would be funny," the BBC reports. If this was also attention-seeking, “it would be funny” behaviour, it’s an unacceptable and baffling act.

"So first a man throws a phone a Bebe Rhexa’s face because he ‘thought it would be funny, and now a man jumps on stage and slaps ava max? wtf is wrong with men,” one Twitter user wrote in response to the now-viral video below.
Another commented, "I was there and this was crazy!! someone gave her a teddy bear earlier in the show. for anyone reading if you ever want an artist’s attention, do something like that, NOT this."
On Friday, 27 January, Ava Max released her hotly anticipated second album, Diamonds & Dancefloors. The hit-filled pop release features the singles, Million Dollar Baby, Cold As Ice and One Of Us. You can check out the album here.
