Against all odds.
In what is truly shaping up to be a 'David & Goliath' story, 20-year-old electropop singer Troye Sivan is in a race for the highest album debut against iconic UK metal band Iron Maiden in this week's ARIA Albums Chart.
While the South African-born-Perth-raised artist's fourth EP Wild is aiming to comfortably finish in the top three this week, he'll have to fight off Iron Maiden's critically acclaimed sixteenth studio album The Book Of Souls which is also aiming to debut in the top end of the charts.

It caps off an impressive week for Sivan who is now looking for a #1 placing, just days after US pop star Taylor Swift tweeted to the singer giving her stamp of approval.

Meanwhile, US heavy metal band Five Finger Death Punch have also thrown their hat into the ring and are also aiming to crack the top three with their sixth album, Got Your Six.
Rounding out the album debut's this week include James Blunt's I'll Take Everything, who will be heading to Australia next month for an exclusive performance at the AFL Brownlow Medal ceremony, and a best-of compilation from NWA; The Strength Of Street Knowledge: The Best Of NWA, both aiming for finishes in the top 30.
The new NWA biopic Straight Outta Compton has been a huge financial success by topping the Aus box office and renewed fans' love for the Compton-founded act, as the already-released records inspired by the movie including the Greatest Hits and Straight Outta Compton film soundtrack are set to re-enter the top 10 and 15, respectively this week.
Over on the Singles Chart, Sivan will debut his new track of the same name as his EP, Wild, while fans can also expect to hear new songs from Sigala with Easy Love and Reigan's Feels Like Heaven.
