Hardcore frontrunners Converge have set a title for their upcoming eighth studio album according to a recent interview with Decibel magazine.

Post-hardcore Delaware based band Boysetsfire are currently writing new material according to recent online posts. Writing via their Facebook page, the band notes the first week of 2012 would be devoted to preparing new material.

Recently re-formed US metalcore band Still Remains have posted their first new track in over four years. Entitled 'Reading Lips' the un-mastered song was unveiled by the band over the weekend.

Pennsylvanian pop punk mainstays Punchline have a new EP called So Nice to Meet You, which will be released through their own record label Modern Short Stories. Bassist and founding member Chris Fafalios has decided he will lay his bass down for good if the EP doesn't make it to #1 on iTunes.   Cursive have released a brand nee song titled "The Sun and Moon". You can listen to it here. The track is taken from the band's forthcoming album, I Am Gemini, which is set to be released February 21. Frontman Tim Kasher says that the album's lead track – the guitar-driven, catchy "The Sun and Moon" – is an integral part of the album's story. "'The Sun and Moon' unveils the first time the estranged twin brothers of the story meet, providing an introduction to the theme of duality that is explored throughout I Am Gemini," Kasher says.

Your Demise have released the video for their track "Forget About Me". The single is taken from the band's forthcoming album, The Golden Age, which is set to be released on March 26. Guest vocals on the track are by David Wood of Down To Nothing & Terror.
