The song "Letter In Icelandic From The Ninette San" is taken from Samson's new solo album "Provincial", which contains newly recorded versions of songs from Samson's previous two EPs, "City Route 85" and "Provincial Road 222", as well as some brand new songs.

Popular US metalcore outfit Killswitch Engage have parted ways with long-time vocalist Howard Jones, with the band issuing an official statement recently.The decision ends a ten year partnership between the group and singer since Jones replaced original vocalist Jesse Leach in 2002.Subsequently, Killswitch Engage have issued the following statement:"To our family, friends and fans: We have decided to continue on without Howard Jones as the singer of Killswitch Engage. We love Howard and are thankful for the nine years that we've had him in the band. Out of respect for everyone involved we will not be discussing the specific reasons behind this decision. Howard is a part of our family and always will be, and we wish him well. He has left big shoes to fill, so we certainly have our work cut out for us to find the next singer of Killswitch, something we plan on making priority #1 going forward. Iconic Swedish metallers Meshuggah have wrapped up work on their upcoming seventh studio album. The band announced recently that a follow-up to 2008's 'Obzen' was complete, setting March 27 as its official release date.

There's themes of obsession and desperation and co-dependance and abuse, wrapped in a lovely and slightly erotically charged scenario. The slow-motion camera idea came about as a kind of sweet to counter saltiness of the driving beat of the song itself. They sort of work together in a syrupy, juxtaposed way.'
