The nominees for the 2024 ARIA Awards will be revealed next week, and you can watch as the names are read out.

Whether it's to do with record label beefs or bringing music to a new generation, artists re-record their songs for many reasons. Here are some of them.

When TikTok shared its biggest global tracks during the northern summer, independent labels or artists distributed 60% of the Top 10. 

Acts including Miiesha, DoloRRes, Armlock, Bella Mackenzie, dust, and many others impressed the BIGSOUND audience.

The new division will be led by former CMC executive Danny Keenan.

The program will award grants between $10,000 and $150,000 to eligible record labels.
