Electronic music-focused live stream and live music platform Boiler Room has been acquired by multinational giant Superstruct for an undisclosed sum.

Superstruct Entertainment, a European festival organiser, declined to reveal the terms of the deal (per Billboard). In 2021, Boiler Room was acquired by ticketing platform Dice. Despite the new agreement, Dice will remain Boiler Room’s ticketing partner.

According to the official announcement, Boiler Room will remain responsible for its business under Superstruct. It will “retain its identity” with support for its development through Superstruct’s global resources and expertise. Boiler Room will continue to generate income through brand partnerships with Pernod Ricard and Ballantine’s, ticketed events, and merchandise.

In a statement, Boiler Room Founder Blaise Bellville expressed excitement in partnering with Superstruct as the live music platform embarks on a new chapter.

Bellville added, “We feel in good company with their roster of brands, they offer us new opportunities to grow, whilst understanding the importance of staying true to the authenticity that, at its core, is what makes Boiler Room special.”

Superstruct Entertainment CEO Roderik Schlösser added that the company is “proud” to welcome the Boiler Room team and praised their growth over the last fifteen years “whilst maintaining a distinct cultural approach.”

Schlösser continued, “This partnership perfectly aligns with Superstruct’s mission to celebrate and amplify cultures through creativity, collaboration, and live entertainment. Boiler Room is in the best position it has ever been, and we are excited to support them in their promising future ahead.”

Boiler Room made its debut in Brisbane in November and hosted its biggest-ever Australian show in Sydney in December.

From humble beginnings to becoming a cultural powerhouse, Boiler Room began with a webcam taped to a wall that opened a keyhole into London's underground. Since 2010, Boiler Room has amassed an impressive archive that hosts over 8,000 performances by more than 5,000 artists in 200 cities, reaching millions of EDM fans monthly.
