VOLA 'Friend of a Phantom' Australia Tour

Critically acclaimed Danish-Swedish progressive metal band VOLA is heading to Australia for the very first time in February 2026 as part of their Friend of a Phantom world tour. Known for their unique blend of heavy riffs, atmospheric electronica, and deeply introspective lyrics, VOLA have carved out a bold identity in modern progressive music. Joining VOLA on all shows is progressive metal band from Perth, Primrose Path.Their latest album, Friend of a Phantom (Mascot Records, 2024), produced and mastered by Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, The Black Dahlia Murder), marks a bold new chapter—pushing their sonic and emotional range further than ever before. From the haunting tension of Paper Wolf and the atmospheric weight of We Will Not Disband, to the explosive opening track Cannibal—featuring a powerful guest vocal from Anders Fridén of In Flames—the album delivers expansive, emotionally charged soundscapes that are both fragile and ferocious.
