QUEER NIGHT – FILM PREMIERE – THURSDAY FEB 6, 7:30PM
Queer (titled onscreen as William S. Burroughs' Queer) is a 2024 period romantic drama film directed by Luca Guadagnino from a screenplay by Justin Kuritzkes, based on the 1985 novella by William S. Burroughs.Set in 1950s Mexico City, the film follows an outcast American expatriate (Daniel Craig) who becomes infatuated with a much younger man. Journeying together into the jungle, Lee sees, for the first time, the possibility of an intimate and infinite love.Come early, enjoy a special cocktail, inspired by Mexico City, featuring Mescal and share a pizza before the film! This is a proudly queer event – friends and allies are, of course, welcome.
