The Pierre Jaquinot Trio is a jazz ensemble led by guitarist Pierre Jaquinot, a leading figure on the Melbourne jazz scene with over four decades of experience performing both in Australia and internationally. Pierre's musical journey began in blues, rockabilly and R&B before he became renowned as a jazz guitarist and bandleader. ?The trio format showcases Pierre's deep affinity for modern swinging jazz and improvisation, blending originals with lesser-known standards. Performing with Pierre will be two of Australia's best jazz artists, Ben Robertson on bass and drummer Darry Farrugia, forming a tight rhythm section that supports Pierre's melodic and harmonic explorations.
