Vika & Linda Announce New Album, Massive National Tour

Vika & Linda will celebrate their new album with a 46-date Australian tour taking place from May to October.

Legendary Australian music duo Vika & Linda return today, announcing their most personal album to date and a massive 46-date national tour.

In addition to sharing the news about the album and tour, Vika & Linda have unveiled the record’s powerful title track, Where Do You Come From?. It comes after years of lending their voices to other artists’ music and marks a new era for the duo, in which they detail their full story.

Where Do You Come From? marks Vika & Linda’s first album of predominantly original material since Princess Tabu, released 30 years ago. With the new record, they return to songwriting influenced by the writing of their 2022 memoir, No Bull.

For the track, the sisters teamed up with longtime collaborator, Hunters & Collectors’ Mark Seymour. The raw single stems from a question they remember answering throughout their childhood.

Vika & Linda explained, “Where Do You Come From? is a question we have been asked all our lives. Is it because we don’t look the same? We ask ourselves – who are we? Where do we fit in? Who are we now? Where are we going?

“While we’ve been trying to figure it out, faces in Australia have changed, and we don’t stand out anymore. And yet, as we look out at the world today, the question remains, and the struggle continues.”

Along with Seymour, Vika & Linda joined forces with Ben Salter, Glenn Richards, Helen Shanahan, and Cameron Bruce to bring the album to life. “This isn’t a light or fluffy record,” Vika shared. “It’s real life, mistakes, forgiveness and trying to find some peace.”

Linda added, “Every record has mattered, but this time, we reached for something deeper.”

Vika & Linda will celebrate the release of their new album with a 46-date national tour alongside their band, The Bullettes. The run will find them touching down in every state and territory from May to October. All tour dates are listed below.
