Freya & Tom McGowan **FREE FRONT BAR GIG**

Freya and Tom McGowan are a daughter/dad duo from Ballarat who have performed at some of Victoria’s most loved festivals, including Maldon Folk Festival, Castlemaine Fringe and Port Fairy Folk Festival.

As a 15 year old songwriter living in a regional area, Freya’s lyrics provide listeners with a unique glimpse into themes that are central to her experiences, hopes and challenges as a young person. Combined with Tom’s emotive guitar lines, their sound is a rich tapestry that reflects the broad range of artists that Freya has grown up listening to, especially Joni Mitchell, Kate Bush and Aurora.

They are recipients of a Troubadour Foundation Award and will be releasing their debut album in 2026.
