Barefoot Bowls Club is a 5 piece outfit, commonly cited as the second best band to come out of Dingley Village (behind ARIA hall of fame icons JET.)
After years fighting off senior citizens and white collar workers on Instagram who mistake the band as an actual bowls club, BFBC are now ready to release their sophomore EP ‘Everything to Show You’.
A culmination of songs spanning the 7 years of the band’s history, ‘Everything to Show You’ is a dedication to the friends who pulled BFBC through their early 20s. From showing up as the only audience members at a show to watching the band write music from a waterlogged couch in the backyard. The EP is a patchwork of sounds with each member sewing their own influences into the music.
Joined by indie-pop sweethearts Meraki Minds, everyone’s favourite lo-fi food based musical outfit Hot Dog, and punk rockers Spirit Level (F.K.A Bayonet) whose frontman Jake ‘Sizza’ Suriano can scissor kick higher than an Olympic pole vaulter.
Bergy Bandroom, Saturday July 5th, $15+BF online or $20 on the door.
