Check out these international flavours right on your doorstep.

Breakfast in Guadalajara, then lunch in Seoul, perhaps some cocktails in Paris followed by dinner in Berlin? That might sound like an ambitious number of passport stamps for one day's dining but, in Brisbane, you can have the world on a plate without ever having to set foot in an airport. Check out these international flavours right on your doorstep.

Mexico

Start your day the Mexican way at Pepe's New Market, where you can pick up a hunger-busting breakfast burrito, delicious and nutritious huevos, prepared a variety of authentic ways, or, for those looking for something more indulgent, agave-drenched crepas de cajeta. Juan More Taco is part of Brisbane's vibrant food truck scene and we think you'll agree it has the best name ever! Pick up traditionally prepared soft tacos, made with corn flour (yes, they're gluten free) and packed with crispy pork, braised beef or marinated chicken. At La Quinta (Bulimba) you'll find a red-hot Tex-Mex menu, including three types of spicy wings.

Seoul Bistro (Sunnybank) is a must-try for anyone interested in the deep-fried goodness of KFC (that's Korean Fried Chicken, no Colonel Sanders required) and, best of all, they have an all-you-can-eat buffet! Those with big appetites should head to Tobaki (Sunnybank). This all-you-can-eat BBQ features charcoal grills for a truly authentic feast with all the smoky richness this cuisine is famous for. For another quintessential Korean dish, the bibimbap, Madtong San (Sunnybank) has you covered, although due its popularity you may find yourself lining up for a table.

France

Fine-dining experiences don't come much fancier than at Montrachet (Paddington). Try the degustation menu, available only on Friday nights, for a complete taste of Parisian luxury. Lutece Bistro & Wine Bar (Bardon) showcases modern French cuisine with historical flourishes. It's the only kitchen in Brisbane, and one of only a handful in Australia, to offer pressed duck - a delicious 19th century delicacy. No gastronome worth their salt should go without a meal at e'cco bistro (CBD). Head chef Philip Johnson offers modern twists on traditional flavours presented with haute-cuisine finesse.

Germany

Brat Haus (Fortitude Valley) pays homage to hearty German carnivores and their equally hearty appetites. Chow down on foot-long German-style sausages with all the traditional trimmings. Those in search of a truly authentic Deutschland experience need look no further than Black Forest German Restaurant (Highgate Hill) - they even have an accordion player for total Alpine immersion. Brisbane German Club (East Brisbane) is a refined retreat for German beer lovers. This members only beer hall is the real deal, so break out your Lederhosen and get your Bavarian on with a stein in one hand and a 'lecker' pork knuckle in the other.
