Singer, actress and pop-culture icon Hilary Duff is returning to Australia for the first time in nearly two decades in October, and demand for her return has been huge.

Demand has been so overwhelming that the So Yesterday singer has already added an extra show to her Australian tour schedule, and we wouldn’t be surprised if more dates are added.

The new date will take place at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Tuesday, 27 October. The Live Nation Members pre-sale opens at 1 pm today, with the general sale for all shows beginning tomorrow (20 February) at 1 pm local time. You can find more ticketing information on the Live Nation website.

With the additional date, Hilary Duff will now perform for two nights at Rod Laver Arena. The rest of the run across Australia and New Zealand is also happening in arenas—check out the dates and venues below.

Mastercard, Vodafone, Westpac, and Westfield pre-sales are now active, ahead of the general sale opening tomorrow. For Duff’s antipodean run, she’ll be joined by special guest La Roux.

The forthcoming tour marks Duff’s first visit to Australia since a promotional visit in 2014, which in turn preceded her fifth – and most recent – studio album, 2015’s Breathe In. Breathe Out. The new dates are in support of her forthcoming album, luck… or something, which officially arrives tomorrow. You can pre-order/pre-save the album here.

Preceded by the singles Mature and Roommates, Duff previously commented that the album touches on her experiences growing up in the entertainment industry.

“I am often asked how I still have my head on straight after growing up in this industry,” she said in a statement (per Variety). “The album title is my way of answering that question. It’s luck, but there’s also a lot of weight in the ‘…or something’. Many of the things I’ve been through along the way are held there, and I feel like ultimately that’s what’s shaped me.”

Last month, Duff returned to the stage for the first time in eleven years, performing her first headline concert since 2008.
