"We tried to represent the different types of love that people experience."

Single title? I've Got It Bad

What's the song about? It's a love song about infatuation, the excitement of life, and the human condition.

How long did it take to write/record? We had a specific vision for the song so we let that guide the creative process. It took several days to write and record. Once the main ideas were present everything fell into place.

Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? I've Got It Bad is from our latest release For The Light.

What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording? We decided to write an album of love songs. We tried to represent the different types of love that people experience. There are songs about people, places and community. Love just happens to be everywhere.

We'll like this song if we like... Blues mixed with reggae. It's got a summery vibe that carries the love story.

Do you play it differently live? We often perform songs differently live but this song is performed just like the album.

When and where is your launch/next gig? Our next performance is at the BEMAC Entertainment Centre on 19 Feb at 7.30 pm.
