Highlight Of The Year

Being able to watch international bands via live-streams was amazing. The Maine put on such an elaborate show and even had fans' videos on webcam down the front of the stage with a live-chat they were interacting with. I loved engaging in live chats for music video premieres and Instagram live streams, as someone who often attends gigs solo and can be quite shy it was fun to interact with music fans from all around the world.

Prediction For Next Year

I really hope that live-streamed gigs kick off in a more monetised format so that people from all areas of the production line get paid. I can see this opening a world not only for lockdown fluctuations but for regional communities and those with disabilities gaining access to shows they never could have in the first place. I think that both physical gigs and live-streamed gigs can co-exist harmoniously as the tech evolves.
