When did you start making music and why? My band are an amazingly talented bunch of guys who I’ve happened to stumble across. My guitarist is also my incredible producer, Joel Black, who I have worked with for many years now.
Sum up your musical sound in four words? Energetic, edgy, country, pop.
If you could support any band in the world - past or present - who would it be? The Band Perry. Kimberly [Perry, vocals/guitar] and I would have an awesome time being overdramatic and dancing up a storm!
If you could only listen to one album forevermore, what would it be and why? Taylor Swift - 1989. I can reminisce on her earlier sound for my country fix and then delve into the ‘80s beats, cracking melodies, and have an all round boogie-athon.
Greatest rock’n’roll moment of your career to date? There’s definitely times, like realising whilst on set that there are no bathrooms for kms so you will have to go behind a tree or get REALLY good at holding, that you think, “Oh yeah, rock and roll, baby!”
Why should people come and see your band? We’ll all have fun... plus, I’m working on the boys in the band doing backflips with their instruments.
