If an actor was to play you in a movie who would it be? Elijah Wood (who played Frodo Baggins in the Lord Of The Rings trilogy) because he is kinda interesting and a little bit quirky. I think we would get along.
Where is the weirdest place you've seen/or been in a performance? The weirdest stage I've seen a show being performed in is underwater. The idea of doing a circus show based underwater gives it a different aesthetic, as things like the performers' bodies, clothes and hair are weightless. And it's not just circus – I've seen some weird performance art on an underwater set. House Of Dancing Water is not set underwater but has water in it. A show I'd love to see is O, Cirque du Soleil's water-themed spectacular.
What/who inspires you artistically? I quite like to be outdoors so I'm forever inspired by nature. Both my parents are environmentalists. Before circus I worked in bushland restoration.
If you weren't a performer what would you be doing? I'd be sailing a boat up north somewhere warm. It's a good way of travelling and seeing different things. Even if I wasn't performing, I'd still be training though. It's very meditative and internal, like therapy. I really like it – it feels good and gives me a sense of purpose.
