Album title? The Morrisons

Where did the title of your new album come from? It's self-titled.

How many releases do you have now? This is our debut album.

How long did it take to write/record? It was written over a long time, some of the songs are five years old, some were written just before the sessions, recording was very quick, 14 songs in four days. It's a live sound. 

Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? One of the songs is about Emmeline Pankhurst (leader of the British Suffrage movement). She is one of the most inspiring historical figures I've ever encountered. 

What's your favourite song on it? Long Time Traveling, singing harmonies is my favourite thing to do. It's also the track I'm most proud of writing. 

Will you do anything differently next time? Rehearse and practice more. Maybe change up the instrumentation a bit. 

When and where is your launch/next gig? 12 Mar, Newtown Social Club; 18 Mar, Wesley Anne.
