Baker Boy Named 2019 Young Australian Of The Year

North East Arnhem Land artist Baker Boy, aka Danzal Baker, has been named 2019’s Young Australian Of The Year.

The prestigious award follows a slew of accomplishments over the past 12 months, with the rapper taking out the 2018 Corner Award, winning big at The Age Music Victoria Awards and this past week signing a deal with Island Records Australia.

“Thank you so much to every single person who has supported my journey to get me to this stage!” Baker Boy said via Facebook

“Big shout out to my friends and family!! Australian of the Year Awards so thankful.”
