Baker Boy Revealed As Winner Of 2018 Corner Award

Entering its third year, the Corner Hotel has just revealed Baker Boy as the recipient of the 2018 Corner Award. 

The award shines a spotlight on promising local talent, with Baker Boy beating a talent-packed shortlist of seven local Melbourne artists. 

He will receive a prize that includes a headline gig at the Corner Hotel, vinyl pressing, $2000 cash, pre-production at Bakehouse Studios, merch and more.

Last year’s prize went to Cable Ties, while Sampa The Great took out the inaugural award in 2016.

Baker Boy appears on the debut episode of The Set on ABC airing tonight at 9.30pm. We got a sneak peek at the show, read the review here.
