The buzz was palpable in the concert hall lobby as everyone enjoyed a drink in the lead up to the announcements.

The show was excellent with banging tunes, people from wall to wall and of course lots of mandatory champagne and wine.

Owl Eyes sung beautifully and her stage presence was vivid and intoxicating, not to mention that she was doing some pretty cool choreography with her arms.

DOOM wrote and recorded the album while living in the UK and you can thank that for his use of cockney samples, British pop culture references and the grime vibe that snakes through the collection of tracks.

“We don’t hold back, we’re pretty down to earth, we tell it how it is,”

It would make an excellent album to throw on for a bit of background ghetto ambiance, though not enough to take the party to the next level.
