Hopefully their future will embrace an evolution into bolder work that strays outside the now ubiquitous Brooklyn indie-pop norm.

You can’t not fall in love with Dick Diver. Overall it was an amazingly consistent bill with the expected standard not only met but far exceeded.

It’s certainly Williams’ voice penetrating the cleanly produced album. But it’s a different, more refined Williams who’s cast aside his distortion peddle in favour of a tighter, all-over sound.

While entertaining for a range of age groups, this show will be most appreciated by a young adult audience – or at least those with a grasp of the phrase “no homo”.
