Grinding Eyes are back with new music today, premiering exclusively with The Music.
Dubbed Until It Falls Apart, the track is the latest from the Sydney group's forthcoming album Taste The Monochrome, which is due for release on Friday 14 May.
Taste The Monochrome is the second album for the group which is made up of members from The Mess Hall, Treatment, The Laurels and more. They've previously toured with acts like Jesus & Mary Chain, Swervedriver, Dinosaur Jr, Mudhoney and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.
"Until It Falls Apart was written on the road in the US," frontperson Matt Wicks told The Music.
"I was constantly moving, thinking about how to capture that feeling when one’s life falls apart, you know - even in slow motion - you’re being self-destructive and you can see disaster on the horizon, but you still can’t control the dark feelings rising within you like you might spin you wildly out of control and there’s nothing you can do.
"The clip also portrays the chaotic despair in the song. The video goes through a lot of crazy psychedelic spinning, climaxing with a body being pulled out of the car boot, being dragged down a dirt patch to bury it.

"This signifies the end where life has spiralled severely out of control with no coming back - it has fallen apart!
