Aussie singer-songwriter Em George wrote most of her upcoming EP, Wolves, “during moments of huge change, relationships ending, heartbreak and feeling a bit lost”, so it’s not surprising its visual representation is emotional.
The Sydney artist today reveals the music video for EP track Light Comes In right here on theMusic.com.au, which is a song about “those moments where you can feel darkness lifting and new things beginning”.
“I’ve always wanted to do a music video in black and white and use the format to manipulate light and shadow,” George told The Music.
“The director, Sam McAdam-Cooper, played with a lot of natural elements to create shadows and draw out the mood of the song and I’m really excited to share it.”
Wolves is officially out this Friday.
