Missy Higgins confesses to penning a fan letter to Something For Kate frontman Paul Dempsey as she reads from her forthcoming book of essays Oz.

Higgins' Oz book will be released September 19 to accompany her new album — also titled Oz, a collection of reinterpretations of Australian songs close to her heart. Higgins covers, and writes about, artists such as The Go-Betweens and The Drones.  She also sets out on a national tour soon, kicking off in Cairns on September 20.
