Perth-bred grunge-punk-rock outfit Black Stone From The Sun are getting ready to launch their brand new single Pastel Roses with a show at the Little Wing Corner Gallery this month, but you can first familiarise yourself with the new goods first with our exclusive stream right here today.
The incendiary two-piece have been making solid in-roads into the West Australian live scene in their relatively short time together — since 2012 — with their frenetic, infectious, impossible-to-ignore arrangements and presence, their limited membership numbers doing nothing to limit the reaches of their sonic output, and though recorded tracks such as Pastel Roses do much to paint most of the picture of what makes the band such an exciting prospect, it's truly the live arena in which they resoundingly shine and most stand out.
Consequently, if you're in the Perth area on Saturday, 21 February, and have the evening free from plans, consider heading to the Little Wing Corner Gallery to help the Black Stone From The Sun boys launch their single. Entry is only $10, and support comes from esteemed peers Foam, Aborted Tortoise and Skullcave.
