Fortunes released the visual accompaniment for their ode to denim, '501s' and suddenly laundry day just got a whole lot sexier

NZ born, Melbourne based duo FORTUNES debut steamy new clip for '501s,' and damn laundry day has never looked so sexy. Much like the jeans, '501s' is an instant classic that'll be sure to get you hot and bothered this summer.

Playfulness aside, the duo certainly know how tell a story, both lyrically and visually. '501s' paints an elusive picture of temptation and longing in their DIY clip. The hazy technicolour and sweltering heat of the vid will have you positively melting in their sweet summery soundscape.

In '501s,' soul-drenched vocals rendezvous effortlessly with the broken beats and sexy RnB nostalgia that drive the tune. '501s' sporadic sprinkling of strings works flawlessly with the warm electronic flourishes. Crossing boundaries of genre, they weave evocative electronica and RnB with ease.

Whilst the clip for '501s' is somewhat nebulous, there's definitely no uncertainty surrounding the evolution of Fortunes's style. As their beats and lyrics evolve, so too does the duo's artistic identity.
