Live Review: Alex Cameron's, 'She's Mine' won't allow feelings to be imposed

To love and be loved. Why is the most needed human emotion incredibly difficult to obtain for so many? Sydney artist, ALEX CAMERON can't seem to fathom the hardship, so he's teaching you a lesson with his new single and accompanying clip, 'She's Mine', visually directed by James Pillion.

Owning the highest rise of a metropolitan hill, Alex Cameron narrates your intimate vulnerability and insecurities, as you are symbolised in the populous city he so confidently stands and dances before. Technology has begun dictating our romantic careers, slowly terminating the organic livelihood of authentic relationships, and heavily impacting upon the fear of expression. It's a stunt of growth that risks risk, which is a tragedy for the human race. Yet, if we could somehow pull back to the simplicity of interaction and communication, it may be easier than we perceive.

Proving no deceit in the bleak drum pattern and reverent melody, composition effectively only becomes interesting once given the relative metaphor, "it's just water, taste it." So instead of continuing to view this clip as a drab tale for mankind, absorb the cool hues of the grey skyline as the dawn of a new day.
