"What it does reveal, however, is plenty of in-your-face bubbliness and a tired, party aesthetic."

Although this EP occasionally exhibits semi-solid disco beats, haven't we heard enough of this already? “In the city we never sleep/We're gonna party every single week,” whines Lavina De Santoli in the opener/title track. Suffice to say, the track doesn't demonstrate substance or subtlety (nor do any of its three remixes). What it does reveal, however, is plenty of in-your-face bubbliness and a tired, party aesthetic. Though relentlessly long and repetitive, remaining tracks Antiquities and Phase III thankfully forgo the vocals, favouring a warm, colourful video game flavour with hints of Daft Punk in their undertones.
